Silverado 2500HD and 3500 Pickups

The powertrains provide the power needed for serious hauling, beginning with the standard 300-horsepower Vortec 6000 V8. The 340-horsepower Vortec 8100 V8 and the 300-horsepower Duramax 6600 Diesel are also available. They come equipped with a standard 6-speed ZF manual transmission or an available 5-speed Allison 1000 automatic. So bring on your toughest assignments. Silverado 2500, 3500 and 3600 Chassis Cabs
You need a chassis cab that is both strong and powerful. The new generation of Chevy 3/4 ton heavy-duty and one-ton Chassis Cabs are tremendously capable. The frames are engineered to specific performance requirements, maximizing strength while minimizing weight. Most models provide industry standard 86.4 cm frame rail spacing, allowing for easy body installation. And the 3600 models provide standard cab-to-axel dimensions of 60" and 84". Their capacities are enormous. GVWRs up to 4,173 kg on the 2500 and up to 5,443 kg on the 3600 4x4 models. Power is provided by the standard 300-horsepower Vortec 6000 V8, an available 340-horsepower Vortec 8100 V8, and an available turbocharged 300-horsepower Duramax 6600 Diesel.
